Just a tiny professional tip- make sure to use good quality all-purpose flour and cocoa for a deep rich chocolate flavour. You can always resort to a premium brownie premix when you don’t have the time, try out the recipe and let the baker inside you flourish!
What you need:
Preheat the oven to 160°C.
Whisk the yogurt and sugar in a bowl until the sugar is completely dissolved.
If you find some undissolved sugar even after ample whisking, cover the bowl with cling wrap and set it aside on the countertop.
Chop up the chocolate and add it along with the butter to a separate bowl.
Mix the butter and chocolate in a double boiler and stir until combined.
Take the chocolate and butter mixture of the flame and add the whisked yogurt mixture, combine and set it aside.
Add 1 tsp of vanilla extract to the chocolate and butter mixture. (This step is optional)
Mix your weighed-out flour, baking powder, cocoa powder, and salt separately.
Sieve your flour mixture into the wet ingredients.
Fold the mixture to form a thick brownie batter.
At this point, you can add any extra toppings, such as dark chocolate chips or nuts, and fold them into the batter. (This step is optional)
Transfer your brownie batter to a prepared baking pan.
Bake in a preheated oven for 30 - 35 mins or until a skewer inserted into the center comes out with a few crumbs.
Let the brownie rest for 5 - 10 mins before allowing it to cool completely
